AT GmbH to Operate Under WIMA: Continuity and Technical Expertise in Processing Technology

November 2025 | Wilsdruff/Bensheim

Strengthening service and spare parts support for established Bräuer, Ratzinger, Böhringer and AT machines and plants – technology transfer ensures long-term customer support

Effective 1 November 2025, WIMA Wilsdruffer Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH will take over the core business activities of AT GmbH, based in Bensheim. This step secures the expertise built up over several decades in processing and plant engineering and integrates it under the WIMA umbrella for the future.
AT GmbH, originating from the former Bräuer Processing Technology, has long been known as a supplier of turnkey plant solutions, crushing and screening technology, and as a service partner for machines from Böhringer, Bräuer and Ratzinger. With the acquisition, the technical and personnel competencies are fully retained and systematically incorporated into WIMA’s existing range of services.
The acquisition allows WIMA to strategically expand its portfolio in spare parts, service and engineering. The priority is to ensure a smooth transition for customers, who will continue to rely on consistent support and technical continuity. For existing AT GmbH customers, the takeover brings clear benefits: the supply of spare parts for older machines is secured in the long term, service work and technical upgrades can continue at the usual quality standard. At the same time, customers gain access to WIMA’s manufacturing and engineering capabilities as well as the company’s wide range of solutions in wet processing, water treatment and screening technology.
All employees of AT GmbH will be fully integrated into WIMA’s organisational structure. The Bensheim site will remain in operation and will continue to serve as a service and project office, including its spare parts warehouse. In the long term, both locations will be closely aligned to combine technical knowledge and available capacities efficiently. In addition, the Bensheim site becomes an additional service hub for the Upper Rhine region.
With this step, WIMA continues its development as a technologically leading supplier for primary and secondary raw material processing – with a clear commitment to safeguarding existing installations, passing on technical expertise and providing long-term support in an evolving market environment.
