The Roots
Our history in screen machine manufacturing dates back to 1990 when Manfred Bräuer laid the foundation. The acquisition of the insolvent Bräuer Group on December 18, 2007, not only marked the official founding of WIMA but also the beginning of a new era in machine and plant engineering.
Growth and Innovation
What began as a small team of 28 employees has evolved into a dynamic company with approximately 90 highly skilled and motivated staff. Since 2015, we have been part of the Langenberger Innovation Group (LIG), formerly Doppstadt Group. Our investments focus not only on advancing our machine technology but also on the continuous improvement of our locations in Wilsdruff and Hattingen.
