WIMA screen machines with one or multi deck design have an effective surface per screen deck between 1.8 and 24 square meters. According to the customer requirements the screen lining to be provided by all wellknown manufacturers can be made of both wire and polyurethane. The excitation of WIMA screen machines is produced by circular, linear and elliptical vibration.

Elliptical vibration screen machines are constructed with a combination of circular and linear vibrator. We generate an elliptical vibration by superposition of both basic forms – preferably electronically for fine and individual adjustment.
The unbalance exciters consist of unbalance disks which are attached on each side to a solid shaft. The out-of-balance is therefore only generated by the disks. By the outside located gravity of the unbalance disks the total weight of the exciter is strongly reduced. The reduction in weight affects a lower load of the bearing and thus results in a bearing life extension.
Side walls and other components are tailored with high precision on a computerized laser cutting system. The longitudinal carriers are bolted on the cross members by blind rivets. This allows to avoid welding seams in this area which could weaken the cross member. The bolted on cross members are rubberized to prevent wear and
tear. While continuous longitudinal carriers would be possible over the total machine length, we are not deviated from the offset version. Only that ensures that no dead zones to be produced on which the screening material can be transported unscreened to the discharge.
The bearing lubrication with oil splash and mist lubrication. The oil can only be found in both bearing housings and will be splashed around by the rotating discs. So the oil can be provided to the screen bearings. Filling oil in the shaft protection tube is not necessary. The bearings cannot be overlubricated and are always supplied with the optimal oil quantity. The total bearing with the unbalance is located in an absolutely closed protective casing. Through the perfect sealing of the entire exciter a long life time is to be expected, as no pollution can be entering the bearing and also no oil can be
leaking from the bearing.
Larger sized machines requiring larger bearings and out-of-balances are equipped with two or three smaller exciters and consequently also with double or triple bearings. For circular vibrating screens the exciter shafts are synchronized by a toothed belt.
